The Banquet Hall is a 3,200 sq foot room at the rear of the Fire Company. The hall has a private entrance with a foyer, a commercial kitchen, restroom facilities, and is handicap accessible. In the past, the hall has been rented for wedding receptions, church membership dinners, community events, craft fairs, and various fund raisers. Dances with live music and parties with DJs have been huge successes.
The Banquet Hall can seat up to 250 people using various seating arrangements. Rectangular tables and metal chairs are available and we can help you design the best layout for your event. The maximum standing occupancy for the room is 425. There are 100 parking spaces available in the parking lot. Rental fees are charged by the hour.
The hall is equipped with a stereo and speakers including an AUX connection for your audio device. The hall also has an overhead projector that can be used to project your images or videos.
White table cloths are available to rent.
Use of the kitchen is available for an additional fee. This is a “service” kitchen and is not licensed or equipped to be used to “prepare” food. The equipment is provided only to aid in the warming or chilling of food that has already been prepared.
We have a Virginia ABC License with ABC managers on site. If any alcoholic beverages are to be served, an Albemarle County Deputy Sheriff is required to be present for the duration of the event. The Deputy Sheriff will provide security for the event. There will be an additional hourly fee for the Deputy Sheriff to be present.
